IEC/TC 113 Spring 2023 Working Group Meeting and Annual Meeting, Domestic Summary Meeting Successfully Held in Taiyuan

On May 22, 2023, IEC/TC113 (International Electrotechnical Commission Electrotechnical Products and Systems Nanotechnology Committee) 2023 Spring Working Group Meeting and Annual Meeting Domestic Summary Meeting hosted by Shanxi Institute of Coal Chemistry, Chinese Academy of Sciences was successfully held in Taiyuan. This meeting is mainly aimed at some questions and suggestions put forward by experts from various countries on more than 20 international standards reported by the Chinese delegation at the IEC/TC113 spring working group meeting and annual meeting held in Milan, Italy in April this year, and make overall arrangements for the next step of each standard, so as to ensure the smooth progress of the international standard project led by our country.

At this meeting, Ge Guanglu, vice chairman of the National Nanotechnology Standardization Technical Committee and researcher of the National Nanoscience Center, attended the meeting, comprehensively sorted out the standard projects of the Chinese delegation and gave guiding opinions. Dr. Wang Yiqun and Dr. Fan Yangbo from Shenzhen Institute of Standards and Technology introduced the preparation and progress of the IEC counterpart task force of the National Nanotechnology Standardization Technical Committee. From the Institute of Semiconductors of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, Beijing Academy of Science and Technology, Southeast University, Beitri New Materials Group Co., Ltd., Shanghai Institute of Microsystems and Information Technology, Chinese Academy of Sciences, National Graphene Quality Inspection Center, China Electronics Technology Group Corporation Thirty-third Institute, Xi'an Thermal Power Research Institute Co., Ltd., Jinzhou Kaimei Energy Co., Ltd., TCL Technology Group Co., Ltd., Jiangsu Tiannai Technology Co., Ltd., Guangdong Murui Technology Co., Ltd. and Shanxi Institute of Chinese Academy of Sciences the remaining experts reported on the development of 22 international standards.

So far, China has presided over the formulation and release of more than 10 high-quality international standards in IE/TC113. These published international standards and 22 international standards are still being formulated, which have established China's international voice in the direction of electrical products and system nanotechnology, and ensured the technical safety in this field.
